Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I have to be 21 to enter?

  •  Yes, we are a 21+ venue at all times.

  • Do I need an ID to enter?

  • Yes, we check everyone’s ID at the door, and you must have a valid ID as defined by the Washington Liquor and Cannabis Control Board. (https://lcb.wa.gov/enforcement/acceptable-identification) Photo copies will not be accepted.

  • Does Unicorn take reservations?

  • We do not take reservations; all seating is first come, first served. We do have a capacity of about 300 with lots of seating options.

  • Is the taxidermy real?

  • Yes, all of the taxidermy is real and vintage. They were found at various estate sales, auctions, storage unit sales across the country. The owner of Unicorn is a salvage connoisseur and collector; displaying the taxidermy is his way of honoring and appreciating the animals.

  • Who do I contact to book a private event at Unicorn?

  • Email events@unicornseattle.com to contact our Events Manager.

  • Does Unicorn take song requests?

  • We do not take song requests, we play music meant to create a specific vibe in both Unicorn and Narwhal.

  • What events are happening this week?

  • We have events happening throughout the week, for specific events check the Events Page, http://www.unicornseattle.com/events.

  • Is Unicorn ADA Accessible?

  • The entry level bar is not ADA Accessible, but we do have an elevator that makes Narwhal (downstairs) ADA Accessible. To use the elevator, ask security for assistance and they will bring you down to the bar.

  • Can I bring in outside food and beverages?

  • No, we do not allow outside food or beverages. The only exception is for a celebration cake; if you bring a cake please be equipped with your own plates, utensils, napkins, etc.

  • I left my tab open, what should I do?

  • Come to the bar and get your card during regular business hours! All open tabs are closed at the end of the night with a 20% gratuity added. The entry level bartender will be able to get your card for you with a receipt attached reflecting the charge. You will need to have your ID when picking up your card.

  • I think I lost an item at Unicorn, what should I do?

  • Come to the bar during regular business hours and ask the bartender to check the lost and found. If you are not local and cannot come in person please email events@unicornseattle.com to request help locating your item. 

  • Can I spin the Big Wheel?

  • No, please do not. The wheel is just decor and is not functional.

  • Was Unicorn in the Macklemore, Thrift Shop music video?

  • Yes, a portion of the video was filmed in our space and we have a sign designating the space when they filmed.

    Mimosas Cabaret Specific Questions

  • Do I need to buy tickets to the show?

  • Yes - and the earlier, the better. Mimosas Cabaret advance tickets typically sell out two weeks in Advance.

  • The show is sold out. Can I buy tickets at the door?

  • Yes, there are a small number of seated tickets and standing room only tickets available. These tickets go on sale at 11am on the day of the show you are trying to attend at the entry level bar. We are not always able to seat Day Of tickets with Presale groups.

  • Will my group be seated together?

  • Yes, when purchasing tickets you will be asked for a party name, these are used to determine seating. Be sure everyone in your party inputs the same party name.

  • Where do I buy tickets?

  • You can purchase tickets to Mimosas Cabaret at mimosascabaret.strangertickets.com 

  • How long is the show?

  • Doors/ seating are at 1pm, the show begins around 1:30 and is finished just before 4pm.

  • Is downstairs open to the public during Mimosas Cabaret?

  • No, only ticket holders are permitted downstairs during the performance. Downstairs opens to the public at 5pm.
